Today I found time was a cruel thing. Whatever man is, time always goes on. It won’t stay to wait for somebody. You can’t use anything to exchange time. Time is also a fair thing. Although you have a lot of money or you enjoy high reputation, time won’t leave them more. Today I found I hadn’t enough time. Although I have 50-day holiday, but I found I had a lot of things to do. I had a lot of homework to do and I had something necessary to do.
On September 10, teacher's day, we came to the school gate. There were so many people who bought greeting cards at the gate of a small shop. So many students came into the classroom happily with flowers bought from the peddler, but I didn't want to join the party. Because I've got the florist ready to deliver the flowers at 8 o'clock. I picked three pots of red palms in the florist's shop. They are kept in crystal clear glass bottles. They have green leaves, delicate flowers like fire and palms. They are really popular. I think it must be a special gift. It's eight o'clock to have breakfast, but the flowers haven't come yet. I'm so anxious to do exercises. I have to do morning exercises first. It's 8:40 after the exercise. I hurried to my mother's office. My flowers are waiting for me.
How can I take these three pots of flowers? Our classroom is on the fourth floor or basin by basin. The first basin is for teacher Shen, the teacher in charge of the class, to see the flowers when her voice is tired. The second basin is a hundred books for teacher Yao, who is a math teacher. They need to spend their eyes to let him see more green. The third is to give English teacher Chen hope that he is more and more natural and romantic
This is my special gift for teachers' day.
In my childhood, summer holidays left a deep impression on me. They brought me many happy memories now.
Everyday we got up early then. Though there was not much modern entertainment, we could still be content with climbing trees, swimming in the small river, catching butterflies , bees and or something. Anyway, we could give a full play to our imagination and intelligence to enjoy ourselves.
The most enjoyable time in a day was night. All people would go out to be cool. They talked with each other freely and happily. Sometimes we would gather around an old grandfather and listen to an old story, which would always attract a lot of children. Our grief and joy all came from story. Sometimes we would carry out a small stool, made it as a horse, and then we would ride on it in a circle. We acted as knights. The front part of the stool was moved up and down to knock at the earth and sent out the sound of “du du…”。 It was often followed with our folk songs. But parents could not accept this game because it was too noisy, and they couldn’t bear it. We were always forced to dismiss. But soon we could find a new program.
About the midnight, people would go back to sleep one after another. Under the pressure of parents, we had to go home, too. But as soon as we got to bed, the plan of entertainment next day appeared in mind. Then we could sleep with a smile.
After an hour's sailing,we reached our destination. We saw a range of shops and houses with one or two storeys by the sea shore. They were not newly built. We also saw quite a number of dead fish which were going to be dried in the sun distributed on the ground. We got to the beach. There were many fishermen's huts and little houses built on disused sampans.
We crossed the beach and went up the slopes. At last,we reached famous cave. Carrying ta torch, each of us was very excited. We carefully slipped into the dark cave one by one. It was very narrow and we found it difficult to walk through. We could not see anything but the cave. However,we ventured inside the cave. The opening was so small that we could hardly get through.
Everyone was tired and hungry,so we went to eat all the food we brought with us.The food seems to be more tasteful than usual. After that, some of my classmates went to fish and others went to travel round the island in a boat. We were not on our way home until it was five o'clock in the afternoon, and the sun would set very soon.

Dont be afraid when you fall down. Just get up. There are still flowers and applause at the end.
Although the beautiful summer vacation was over, I still remember the bits and pieces of life, especially that time. It was a hot summer day in July. I went to strawberry fields with my aunt and cousin to pick strawberries. When I got off the bus, it was a sight of green oil in front of me. The breeze gently walked over, blowing my hair, also blows my dress, strawberry fields also sends out a "scrape" the sound of the little guys, like in a whisper. I simply took off my shoes and ran in the fields.
Maybe it was a good day to miss the strawberries, and there aren't many strawberries now. I squatted quietly there, looking for the strawberry girl in the dense leaves. On the green leaves, the dewdrops of glittering and translucent, were left behind when the dew of the morning was still watered by the host. I found from the blade a ripe strawberries - red coat it dressed up elegant, pure, like the size of a sesame seed on the above.
It's already cooked, not as good as any other strawberries, maybe today, tomorrow... One day it will fall, and one day it will lose its luster... The strawberry fields get is not only happy, more important is, I understand the laws of nature, birth, aging, illness, and death, is the only way to every creature.

The summer job is a tradition among students of American universities. Long before the end of the school year, students begin their search for jobs during vacation( June,July, and August).
Students send letters to businesses, talk to employers about job opportunities durlng the summer, and ask friends and relarives to be on the lookout for jobs for them. By June the students have usually
solved the problem and begin to make preparations for leaving their books to enter the business world.
Reasons for wanting a summer job are different from student to student. Some work to help pay their school expenses; others work to gain experience in their chosen professions; still others work just for the fun of it.
Typist, construction worker, salesman, lifeguard, and waiterthese are some of the more common jobs that students try to find during the summer months. But many young people find work that is a little more unusual.
